Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. She's attractive and talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Her initial success was enhanced when she appeared in several popular television show. She played the villainous Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii as the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. In this period she was the main character in some failures on the box-office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In later years, she worked as voice actor for animated movies, such as Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's role on the small screen as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police drama that Liu starred regularly played a part that has helped her regain her status as a famous as an actor. Liu chooses her roles carefully so that she doesn't get stereotyped in a field which is extremely competitive. Liu is a gifted artist who has not been limited by her ethnicity.
